Fourth Street East

For its new development near Jack London Square in Oakland, CA, Carmel Partners wanted a brand identity that reflected the industrial history of the area while still remaining timeless in years to come. After presenting the client with research on location's history, demographics, and brand strategy, we settled on a design inspired by food can labels from an earlier era when the area used to be home to canning factories. The identity was executed through various mediums - exterior building signage, website design, photography direction, site plan maps, brochures, lightpole banners, sandwich board signs, window graphics, and more.
